Our Scottish Country Dancing demonstration to the Forget-Me-Not Club in Prestwood Village Hall on Tuesday 1 May went very well. Both dancers and audience enjoyed themselves. A big thank you to the folk at the club for their generous donation towards our charity of the year.
Each week our beginners benefit from Rose Kreloff’s teaching. On 1 February, it was the turn of our more experienced dancers to have a whole evening’s tuition from our guest tutor, Joan Desborough. We had a great turn out of members who had an enjoyable and stimulating time learning formations
As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations during 2016 we recorded a video of ‘Miss Lucy Clark’, a dance written for our founder Lucy a number of years ago by Valerie Farr. This is now available to view on the Scottish Country Dance Database (SCDDB) and on YouTube.
